Ugh Erin Wasson, you know me too well.

Saving up to put a down payment on a condo is a loong process but hopefully in 2 years, I’ll have saved enough.

These pics are mad old but it’s exactly what I want. I know it’s lame but I know what my first condo is going to look like: brick walls, dark hardwood floor, metal entrance door, big windows, lots of natural light + white walls. Plus the whole western feel it has makes it just soo much nicer!

My job is pretty stressful and every since I have started working for the bank, I’ve learnt that helping me not burn out and get all Naomi Campbell on everyone is to enjoy a long hot bath when I have the free time.

I still live with my parents and our bathtub isn’t the best as I wish. That’s why I always tell myself once I get my own place, a nice big bathtub will be a must. After checking out Milan’s 2010 bathroom designs, my jaw dropped at all the beautiful bathtubs. check em out:

My summer drink

About 2 weeks ago, my friend Dominique introduced to what is now my favorite place to have lunch: Les Folies. It’s a cute restaurant that’s right across the street from Mont Royal metro. Now I love to have Sangrias in the summer. That place makes the best sangrias I have ever tasted. Instead of using cherries like most places do, they used raspberries and the combination is delicious!

Last night though, Tristan told me about a place in the old port that makes way better sangrias. With watermelon! I would have never thought of combining my favorite summer fruit with my favorite summer drink! Now I’m not going to lie, I haven’t tried it yet but it’s definitely at the top of my to do list!

Here’s a recipe of Watermelon Sangria I found online:
2 pounds seedless watermelon, peeled and cubed, plus 1/2 pound watermelon cut into balls with a melon baller and skewered on picks
1 bottle dry white wine
6 ounces vodka
4 ounces Cointreau or other triple sec
4 ounces Citrus Syrup
Ice

In a blender, puree the watermelon cubes. Pour through a fine strainer into a pitcher. Add the white wine, vodka, Cointreau and Citrus Syrup. Stir and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Stir again, then pour the sangria into ice-filled white wine glasses and garnish with the skewered watermelon balls.

Okay, I’m not gonna lie. Beyonce has always been a guilty pleasure of mine but now I’m really not ashamed to like her! This video is amazing! All girls should take notes from B because she is smoking in this video! Her hair, her makeup and her style (in most scenes) are beautiful. She’s got the whole Mad Men/50s/American Dream to a T. Watching this video makes me want to wear sexy lingerie, sit on my bed with a martini in one hand and a cigarette in the other. There really is nothing not to love about her!
